By far the greatest Prof I have ever had. Best described as the love child of George Carlin and Santa Claus. John was a great guy to talk to, whether it was about school work, or what was going on in your life. John definetly earned his retirement, and I'm glad to have known him

I've read some comments, and some think John is bitter. Hell if u taught some of the students he has, u'd be bitter too. John is always willing to stop and talk with u, his office is always open and always willing to chat. John does care about his students, but if they don't care about themselves he won't either.

I never had John as a teach but I've talked to him so many times in front of the radio hall. I've never met a more helpful guy and yes, it's way past time for him to retire in 2 years he went from happy go lucky to "i just wanna retire" He deserves a retirement and some down time. I wish him the best.

John Henderson taught me, oh, fifteen years ago. He was incredibly approachable then, and mentored me long past grad. & told me to use common sense with difficulties I've had. I'm sure he won't remember me at all, but when faced with awkward problems, I still apply his common sense rule. A keeper

The best teacher I've ever had and I know lots of my former classmates feel the same. Incredibly kind and supportive and is very well informed and intelligent. The kind of teacher that will make time for you no matter how busy he is. GREAT GUY!!!
