hated this guy when i was a student. he was new and didn't teach the couse the way i was expecting. all architechture and almost no programming. i'm teaching myself now and actually learned more than i realized. thanks to prof k.

didnt like him at first - terrible book and his first term at WPI. now that i am a software eng i realize how much he taught me. long winded on stories but always had a point. i would take his class over the other two i've since taken on hardware.

kleinsmith was one of only a few faculty I studied under at WPI who gave a dam about mentoring students. he taught my computer architecture course with assembler - both of which I had zero interest before taking his class. he taught to make the class understand rather than just remember. i took the grad architecture course later- thanks prof!

ok - the guy knows his stuff and is obviously very smart -----but i was there to learn assembler - not computer hardware!!!!! Aaaaaaghhh!! He did give lots of time to meeting to helpout extra. Maybe he should be teaching ECE?
