The best professor I ever had!! Very easy to talk to about projects. We always had the opinion at MUN if you didn't like Dr. Mannion, you were lazy and didn't want to do the work. Great man, I'm sure he's missed at MUN.

2 years after I graduate from Geography and I'm STILL thinking about things John taught me. His teaching is FANTASTIC and he's absolutely the most prized possession of that program. Anyone who thinks he's a hard teacher should NOT be in university. University wasn't meant to be easy. For the love of god people, wise up and challenge yourselves.

Give this man some credit...He is one of the best profs. in Geog. I am amazed at his knowledge of Newfoundland and I find him to be a mentor, makes you want to learn more about the subject. He maybe a little boring but he aint THAT bad!!

Has good intentions but does not realize that when students pay for a course they can attend class if they want and there be no preaching about it. Alot of work.....and pretty boring. But make sure you listen or he'll come down to you. Really didn't like the course.
