Dr. Marsh was the laziest professor I had at Trent. Pathetic to be earning over 100,000+++ a year. His teaching assistants did all his work...he made some promises he never did keep......sure he seems like a nice person, but for what it's worth he didn't add all that much value to my education.

John is someone that I wish I was friends with. I thought my interest in parks and protected areas could not be matched until he taught me. Through him I found I have a lot to learn still. If he had not retired before I did my honours thesis with another prof. my career would have gone in a different direction I'm sure.

Commom sense, clear about procedures, markings etc.Structured and keep things stable. Which is more than I can say for a couple of members of my committee whose main entertainment was taking potshots at each other.
