His class is pretty difficult but in the end you will learn a lot about human biology. He is very clear with his lectures and gives good examples but you must study to pass his exams. Rather it is the book, notes or study guides you MUST study. Overall he is effective in teaching about human biology if you pay close attention to his lectures. :)

He is very difficult and condescending, rude and crude. He talks in class like he is preaching and gets visibly frustrated if one can't answer a question he thinks everyone should know. In a class of 28 only 10 students remain at midterm. Don't email him on the weekends to ask a question, he doesn't take his book home. I would never take his class.

DON'T DO IT. He stomps around the whole class period like he's a preacher at homecoming, and he talks about his Sunday school. When people asked questions he talked about something totally different or looked at you like you were stupid and ignorant. He is also very rude!

All I have to say is make sure that you study and do study guides and extra credit!!! Tests are all multiple choice but still challenging. Test comes strsight from study guides and extra credit. A ton of notes! be ready to write from start to end of class!

awful teacher. Gives tons of notes! i dropped his class..it was way too demanding. He called me a coward for dropping and he said everyone that dropped his class is going to work in the fast food industry. alot of people i know who've had him got C's and D's in his class and the study guides are extremely hard!!

Prof. McDonald is a great teacher. He is willing to help those that want to help themselves. Take notes and study them and you will do fine on his tests. He knows biology backwards and forwards, and is always in his office for further explanations. He had to be one of my favorite teachers. I would definitely recommend him.

Mr. McDoanll is the biology teacher to take if you want to learn someting. B/c the man knows what he's talking about and if your going to guess on the test, go ahead and sign up for the class again b/c you will not pass. But he will work with you when you need it, he's cool and funny and what makes it even better is. He is a true man of God.

Took his class over summer school. He knows his stuff and is willing to help his students. Does require that you actually be a student and learn the material.
