Awesome teacher. Very hard marker and does not take crap from people, which is fine by me. If you make an effort and participate in class, he will bump your mark up. He is always there if you need him and is always very helpful if you don't understand something. If you just want an easy pass, don't take his class. If you want to learn, get him!

John Merrick and Keith Gruben .. what can I say two bottom feeders. I am a Neurologist in Alberta and happy to have moved on in life. These two taught me that Business men lack morals and intelligence. I vividly recall their idiotic behaviour and now insure I meet any potential instructors before classes to prevent the Merrick-Gruben effect

he seems like he's a hardass, and well he is. he is a very hard marker, but fair and doesnt like people coming in late, which is understandable, but if you need help on your presentations you can always ask him, show that you learned something from his class and he will bump your mark up..listen to lectures and criticism IT WILL HELP!
