He is a very good teacher if your math background is well founded. If you don't know your algebra, you will have a hard time in this class. If you are decent in math then you will have an easy time in the class. I didnt study from the book. I only used my notes of stuff that he wrote on the board in class and homework to study for tests. Got A.

This class very well may be one of the worst classes i ever took...avoid this teacher at all costs...i dreaded going to class EVERYDAY its boring, he has a heavy greek accent, the material is ez but the tests will most definatly destroy you since there not what he taught AND there special situations. I did pretty well in this class, you have to get into the swing of things to understand the material quickly, if you can think on your feet and have mathematical/analytical ability you will do o.k. , if not this class is DOOM CITY for you, your gpa will go straight down the tubes. Honestly, I thought he was a great professor. If you attend his classes regularly, take copious notes, and do his homework, you shouldn't have a problem. His accent wasn't all THAT strong. Overall, I enjoyed his class and teaching style. Definitely recommend taking him.

His Greek accent is annoying. No personality! I would say he explains everything pretty well and goes over examples. As long as u pay attention (which may be hard) & take notes & study for the tests (which are only 3!), u'll be okay!
