As my piano teacher in a performance program, I can't express how much I learned from him and was inspired by his artistry. He gave his all at lessons and we had a great rapport. JP, I hope you are well!!

He taught my pedagogy class. His exams were poorly written, his questions were vague but he wanted very specific answers and if you misinterpreted the question, you got zero. I am a great teacher now, but it is certainly not because I learned anything from him, except examples of how not to treat students.

Great teacher, patient with many different student 'types,' but still lets them know his expectations are high. Nice guy. His pre-exam recital/dinners at his home were examples of his fine generosity and genuine concern. As well, he's one hell of a chef!!!!
