He is an extremely difficult professor. If you can, take this class by itself, it is the work of a 6-8 credit class as oppose to the 4 its worth. Know the noble prize lectures, study every little detail because he puts questions on the tests he knows people will get wrong.

Not a walk in the park. He was really nice but his lectures were so confusing. He have a million powerpoint slides but maybe if lucky use about ten of them. Would not recommend anyone to take his class, well unless you've taken his class a few times before.

Had him for Physiology. I already have a masters degree so I KNOW how to study. THIS IS THE WORST PROF I HAVE ENCOUNTERED! Others in my PA program took him and agree! All of us re-took the class at other universities to prepare us for advanced medical education. Taught his pet topics way beyond the level of an undergrad class. AVOID!!!

Take his class if and only IF you are dedicated to studying and memorizing EVERYTHING he may throw at you. The class can be overwhelming but its certainly not impossible. He cares a lot about his students. He even reminded me that I forgot something on my exam explanation as I was leaving. Hard, yes. Fair, yes. Would I recommend him to others, yes.

Powerpoints printed out first few weeks, then its your responsibility to print them if you want to follow along and take notes, which you should. I did terrible on the first test because I was not prepared; then did much better on all of the follwing. Study IN DEPTH, mostly over the things he emphasizes and hints will be on the test.

He is very demanding of his students. He wants you to know every little detail of every little system and pathway of the body and make sure you can draw a diagram and explain it! Honestly if you can take just his class and his class alone your okay otherwise be ready for some work.

Tests are pretty difficult and in depth and close to 100 questions each. The test dates aren't on the syllabus and are planned a week or 2 ahead of time so you have attend regularly so that you don't miss a test. Not a bad guy tells lots of jokes and makes sure everyone understands concept before moving on in class.

Prof. comes across very stern and impossible on first day, but the truth is, if you study and ask him questions, the class is awesome! I learned more in his class than all other biology classes combined. Be prepared to work for your grade, but it's not hard to get a 4.0 if you dedicate some time. Really cool info in this class!

This is the worst prof. I have ever had..I walked out of his class crying after the first exam...which I studied for like crazy. The fill-in the blank exams are ridicules because you have no idea what he's asking for sometimes since things are so unclear! He picks on students to answer questions randomly expects you to know things at his level..

I took this class to prepare for PA school, but unless you want to go Med school, do not take Reddan. I am finishing my fourth year at OU and this teacher is the hardest most uncaring professor I have ever met. He doesn't care if students pass or fail, and he seems to take satisfaction at students doing poorly. Take another section!!

This is an extremely difficult course. Be prepared to spend a great deal of time studying and reading. PROS: You will learn a lot if you put the time in. CONS: Prof. Reddan is very knowledgeable, but expects everyone to be at his level. And much of the information he uses is from grad books so the book isn't always helpful. But it's not impossible!

I just finished my 4th year of med school and this class taught me so much. Yes med school. I learned alot and really prepared me for mcat and med school. If u r for the right reasons in school (study and work hard not to cheat and slack off. Enough baby crying bc med school gives so much info that makes u work hard day and night.

Very Hard Prof but I'm glad that I took such a class because it taught me a lot. You won't ever find such a Prof elsewhere. The nobel prize articles are very helpful and interesting. Don't ever miss any of class notes and try to read the book. Think of this class more like 6-8 credits, it's worth while and may greatly build up ur interest in BIO.

horrible teacher!!!! you should never take this professor unless you are some kind of genius. I've always liked learning about biology but when I took his class that changed. he makes it uninteresting and very hard to follow along. I went to every class, took notes, and read the chapters that we were suppose to and I still did horrible in the class
