Great professor. He is very knowledgeable about the subject. He is also willing to answer your questions with much detail. Tests were not that (define a term and its significance to the Bible). This class really makes you think about the Bible in a new way, making it interesting. Definitely take this class with Reeves.

Dr. Reeves is an awesome professor!His class is tough but also the subject. You will be amazed at what you have learned by the end of his class.I am reading and translating BIBLICAL HEBREW!Attendance is a must and there is alot of outside work but trust me when I tell you it is REWARDING!Your grade is based on homework translations and quizzes.

If you have the chance to take one of Dr. Reeves' non-language classes, take it! He is a master at lecturing and and genius in the field. He is not easy, but the experience is rewarding. Fantastic professor!

Before meeting him I expected a pretentious scholar with a distinguished beard. Got the beard, but very approachable. The class is scary at first, and very overwhelming. Study is a must, but it is rewarding once you realize how much you have learned. Vocab tests help balace translations. Grading for trans. is odd though. Hard to get check+
