Comment:

One of the best profs I've ever had. Dedicated to his profession, mixes in his own knowledge about Ling into the course material. Cares about students, and will even correctadd to the textbook for our benefit. Course material can be tricky at times, but he's approachable & helpful. Old-fashioned and truly a kind soul. Wish all profs were like him.

This class was so boring! Did anyone go to class? I didnt listen..ever...and I still got an A. That doesnt make sense. The exams are all common sense and the essay topics are repeated over and over. This prof thinks that he is above it all and the lectures are just dribble. Plain easy marks.

His lecture notes available before class are a big help, because you have no idea what he's talking about during class.He will give extensions, but if you go to his office, be prepared for him to talk for an hour straight. Not the best subject matter, but for a class with no seminars, and very easy exams, it's worth it for the context credit.
