I took this class online and I regret it. You think it's going to be easy having weekly quizzes and the fact that it's online but it's not. He posts his notes late and for the quizzes gives you a minute pre question which is not enough time. I think the best I did on a quiz was 8/15. Plus the questions are about the most miniscule things. Just dont

AVOID. I dont get these other posts. I have a 4.1 GPA and a 4th year student and he teaches word for word from textbook, wont help you EVER, his assignments are absolutely impossible even though theyre online. He definitely hates teaching...do yourself a favour and AVOID AVOID AVOID!!

Im confused on the easy ratings. Im an A student and i thought this was the worst class ever. If we are rating just on teaching skills (not personality), dont take this class. exams were ridiculously hard because they made no sense. He also did not help whatsoever. Avoid him- 10 other classmates agreed with me. Studying gets you nowhere

John is such a nice guy, very considerate and understanding. This is a tough class though, lots of reading and easy to fall behind. I found the tests to be quite hard. The online quizzes and assignments can be helpful. Really nice guy but class is a lot of work! No slacking off at all or you'll be in trouble

Worst class ever. I took psychopathology online and it's terrible! Weekly quizzes worth 5% each & we only get 15 min to do a 15 question quiz, that leaves no time to look over answers! 2midterms worth 25% each and only 40 mc questions. if you get one answer wrong you lose 2% already!! Our mean was 53%. Definitely lowers gpa!!!!!

I'm a third year crim student and this is the easiest class I've ever taken - 1100 with John. SUPER easy if you study the text, weekly quizzes are an A. Highly recommended if you don't want to try too hard. SUPER nice too, one of the nicest teachers at Kwantlen.

John is an average teacher. his classes are really boring. he does very little in the class and expect you to do lot at home. i am not that much of a fan of quizs everyday. it takes lots of time that he can utilize for teaching his students.dont waste time going to his class. in a nutshell i would not want to be in class.

No midterm/term paper. Just a 15 question quiz every week (he takes out the lowest mark), a 5 min presentation and a 25 question final. The quizzes are not hard if you actually read the textbook. However, reading 40 pages just to answer only 15 Q's is pretty brutal. Little room for error because each q is worth 7% on the test. So you have to study!

Good friendly prof. Unique class structure as you're mark is just made up of one oral, weekly quizes and a couple of tests. The best part about his classes is that there is never a final exam. Straightforward and clear, just have to make sure to study from the textbook for the weekly quizzes and you'll do fine.

Good Professor...no final exam, only weekly MC tests and a review. There is also one final oral presentation which is very easy. The mini tests are worth more than the review and the oral which makes it hard to stay focused on those projects since you can still earn a good grade with a poor presentation.

Very helpful, very nice, fair. However, some people may not like his weekly tests, though I think weekly tests r way better than a midterm. everythng's MC. He assigns 1 oral presentation, 1 review test. sum of his 2350 mc questions, i felt, were unfairly tricky

this teacher is EXTREMELY good. My class is everytueday 4-7 and instead of having bunch of chapter tests together we just have one chapter test each tuesday which is only 15 quetions and worth 10% and theres no final and one review test at the end of the term which is just based on class notes..you dont even have to write notes just print them out

his class was mediocre. you do as well as you put into his class. if you read the book and attend half his lectures you'll get a B. i wish his tests weren't MC..or had more questions...15 questions is not worth the 40 pg chapter reading.
