Comment:

Troyer is a great professor. The material is sometimes hard and there is a lot of required reading, but the exams are pretty much take-home and you learn a lot. I could see how people might find him boring, but if you have an interest in the subject (I'm minoring in philosophy) you will rarely be bored. This professor and course are recommended.

I had him at the U of Minnesota but now that he has relocated I wanted to spread the word. Troyer is a great teacher, the best I've ever had. The classes are hard, but very interested, and he is always willing to help. He is also very personable and easy to approach. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
