Comment:

I was very interested in this class and it turned out to be better than I imagined! He made it VERY interesting and loves what he teaches. He loves to wear Hawaiian shirts, cuss, tell jokes and stories totally worth hearing. There wasnt a day our class wasnt laughing about something he said. Totally recommend. Hes great!

THEE best professor I've ever had! Very light on grading papers. He grades very fairly! I feel like he gave me better grades on my papers that I deserved. He is always trying to get the class involved, he values his students opinions and he respects his students and their writing. I highly recommend this professor! :)

Jon is a really funny guy. He loves to cuss and he loves Hawaiian shirts... a lot. His class is fairly easy minus having to read many many chapters every other day. He is a pretty easy grader and makes learning fun. He tells many interesting stories and is overall a great teacher.

You watch a movie each week based on film genres, have two easy tests, a 2 pg midterm essay and a 2pg final essay! This guy is hilarious. Always has a story to share. I'm just kind of bummed I had him for an already fairly easy class. Having him for Mythology would have been awesome.

He is a really funny guy. Sometimes it may seem like you are just watching movies, but really you are learning about different film techniques and about history. Jon makes it interesting and has great stories.I recommend him for EN125. Only 2 easy tests over the movies and 2 easy papers. Did not even talk about the book so I wouldn't buy it.

He is a funny, great guy but a terrible teacher. Did not learn 1 THING in Intro To Film. Every day, we watched a movie. THAT'S IT. If you like 4 easy credits, go ahead and take this. But I would have prefered learning something valuable.

Wow. Talk about a guy who does nothing. I had him for EN125. The class was great for 4 free credits and not much else. I learned nothing. Several months after submitting my mid-term paper, I hadn't received a grade. I approached him with a copy and he assigned me a token grade on the spot...

Addison was probably one of the best professors I have ever had. He made mythology so much fun to learn and was always so funny. As long as you pay attention in class, you should get an A. Make sure to ask him to tell the "Clown Story" :)

He was by far the best Prof. i have had to this day. It was a challenging but as long as you kept up with the readings you were ok. He made the class so much fun, it was interesting, entertaining, and still quite educational. Just a great guy, and the class was the highlight of my schedule,i made sure not to miss a single class. I highly recommend!

This guy is probably one of the most fun people I've ever had for a teacher, funny stories, loves what he does, not afraid to cross the line, always has a joke and is just a nice guy all around. If you can take one of his classes I highly reccomend you do it.

He's so cool. He reads us essays about LSD and told us that he doesn't want blah blah blah papers, he wants to know the story of how "we chugged six beers in the car wash with our friends." He always relates to his kids and tells funny stories. Take this class with him if you can!!!!!
