Great professor, really knows his stuff. Understood he was teaching non-majors and graded accordingly. Easy to get an A. Allowed group exams. Kind of wacky, and would frequently break out into song. Definitely recommend.

For an easy grade and a fun time, take Alexander. He's hilarious, slightly senile, easy graders, lets you us all the books and notes on the exams. One paper, not difficult...half of each exam is take home and you can do it in groups. He knows his stuff and isn't above sick jokes.

Great guy, loved every minute of this class. Insightful videos, different approach to history than just memorizing facts... for those who never understood why it was necessary to memorize dates, take this class. Fun projects that take some work but will only help your grade so long as you do the research.

no one better than Fr. Alexander for a history major Very Knowledgeable about Amer. History.Takes a different approach towards teaching by letting you bring cheat sheets to exams, which have consisted of over 66 pages of wikipedia notes for me.Content analysis and book review take some decent work but he only cares if you've done the research

An easy class for history majors. His projects and tests seem very difficult, however if you simply pass it in, you are guarenteed an A/B. He's a pretty wacky guy, and makes a lot of dumb jokes, but atleast keeps the class light.

His class is not too hard, but his lectures are terrible. His notes are all over the place, and the movies are really boring. He is funny at times, but it can get annoying. All in all, not that bad of a teacher, easy A/B

he is a horrible annoying teacher!! i mean his tests are easy but his projects drive you crazy- content analysis of journals and a book review. he's obsessed with using sources and analyzing how people have written about topics. doesnt teach enough facts and tests just test you on how well you can look up info not on waht you know.

I seriously had on a test "when was the war of 1812." The guy is histerical. Laid back with late work and feel free to take the easy make up tests. Used to go to class early and watch Britney Spears videos with Fr. Alex (back in the day).
