Had Jon for fine woodworking every other class. Great for class because gave you ideas that differ from other professor, allowing you to determine whats right. Great because he expects things on time, a necessity in life. Tough but a good teacher.

I had Jon Alley for Web & Interactive Design. It was a pretty easy class, but he didn't give much direction with the projects. He is very informed about technology and we followed the book some, but I felt the class was lacking something.

I much prefer distance learning classes that use WebCT. I do not like the set up he uses. Also, you get virtually no feedback throughout the course. Can't figure out his grading policies.

Very nice teacher. Grades sort of harsh. Didn't learn much in class and the book didn't help. Not my first choice for a teacher but I wouldn't refuse a class if he was it.
