Professor Franklin is so great at what he does. His lectures are clear, and he recognizes research methods material is new to many students and can seem overwhelming. He keeps the pace of the course steady and gives everyone the opportunity to succeed. Highly recommend for any stats/research related course. No textbook needed, no assignments.

Prof. Franklin is a very good professor! He tells lots of interesting stories that relates to the topic, and makes the class enjoyable. Tests are straight forward, power point notes are given to you ahead of time so that you can just follow along. Willing to help you out as long as you ask for it! Don't forget your unit of analysis!

One of the very good profs offered at this school. Found this class a little dull because I've taken stats before but for someone new to the material - he simplifies it very clearly for you to understand. He is very helpful, and if you pay attention, it will be impossible for you to fail. He provides notes so you don't have to buy a textbook.

He is by far one of the best Prof's I have ever had! He is sooo nice, and puts all his lectures on Nexus so you can print them and so you can follow along and pay attention in class. He goes above and beyond his job to help you if you ask. Everything is super clear, I just suck at Stats, so hopefully with all his help I can pass :)

Great teacher, explains really well and really clearly, but there is a lot of memorization. The things he teaches will be useful in the future and in much of your research for other classes. Strongly recommend it, but plan on attending, because if you miss class, you'll find it hard to catch up.

The best professor I ever of all the courses I took. He works thoroughly giving all the course class instruction and labs and attends his open question and tutorial times each week; and he processes many student assignments and tests per course. He involves himself in each students progress through the course. Down to earth and hardworking. Thanks

This is a good instructor and his classes are really well done. Working hard will produce logical returns in the classes. He is a fair, reasonable person who focuses on the material and makes it understandable and interesting. He is so fair that I do not feel my school work is out of my control. THE best stats professor EVER. I'm not a math person, but this man eased me into liking statistics. He's charismatic, smart and very helpful. Another awesome thing about him is that we didn't have to spend $100 dollar on a book because he didn't make it mandatory. Overall, great professor. Take his class!

Great prof! Somehow manages to make stats interesting (as much as it can be) and easy for social sciences students who don't want to take stats. He makes the math seem easy. Very nice, very helpful. He provides the notes (powerpoints posted on webct) and lots of practice questions. There is no textbook. Highly recommended!
