He's a great professor and clearly loves his subject. He didn't really stick with the syllabus, but in a good way. We were promised to have four homework assignments during the semester and only had 2. He's always willing to help. The tests are pretty hard but he gives you two old tests that pretty much mirror the one your about to take. Easy A.

This course could not be taught by a better professor. It was intense, demanding (in both the hiking and intellectual content). The areas around Albuquerque were great geological examples. This professor tells you what there is to know, how to remember it and conveys how much fun it is to know it. There is nothing more to ask.

This professor is one of the hardest working, most conscientious teachers in the United States. He is a great credit to this university.

Great teacher. Super nice. Makes you work for an A on the tests but if you study the old tests he gives to you, an A+ can be earned. Very passionate about geology and teaching.

I took him for upper level classes. Very smart. If you didn't learn from him, you didn't try. This department is full of brains. He is one of them. (For proof ask him about his China Trip.)
