HIST2100 was a very interesting class! The Prof is great but there is way too much info to cover. The exams were very hard and you really needed to study extra hard in order to pass! However, go to lecs, do the readings and you'll get the A!

He's passionate, funny and accessible. He's also accommodating since after the class average was low for our first exam, he offered to remedy it. His TAs are good too. My only concerns are that sometimes he used Latin jargon without explaining it properly. Also, he sometimes gave too much reading for a second year course. Overall, a great prof.

Knows how to keep class interesting with his humour, although some lectures got a bit boring. Obviously knows a lot about Greece and presents it clearly. What can I say about Jonathan? He was a brilliant prof - probably still is - and 20 years later (Yes, JE, it HAS been 20 years! - well, 19 anyway) I still recall our discussions from the seminar classes.

Really funny (which made the lectures bearable) and absolutely loved the english accent. The lectures were very structured and clear, and professor Edmonson understood the material being taught. The good organization of the lectures was really helpful when it came down to exam time.

He is one of the BEST profs at YORK! He is willing to help with assignments as long as you show that you have done your part. Don't expect him to do the work for you. Also, he keeps the class interesting with his sense of humour. Very approachable, and overall a great Prof!

This man is an amazing proff and i had him last year in this class. Unfortunately, I appeared that he may not be teaching any 4th year courses in this upcoming year. Tis a shame - missed him by one year. I hope he does teach 4th year history.
