Probably the most condescending professor I've ever had. Doesn't give you guidelines on the papers and then just rips it apart. He does give you an opportunity to re-do it but still doesn't give you a great great. Would not recommend taking.

Very harsh and specific grader on papers, which are the only thing you are graded on. Only plus side is he lets you re turn in the paper for a better grade after he critiques it. Would recommend not taking him.

He is kind of strange but I thoroughly enjoyed his class. It was an easy A if you show up and pay attention, like most classes. He's funny in a dry way, but if you respond to things he says instead of just staring at him he'll like you. Pay attention, participate even if you think you're wrong, he respects that.

I love philosophy but I was very confused by many of his lectures. He does not clarify what he is teaching or give you a good guide on what to expect and how the information correlates into the topics or ideas. Strange sense of humor & I wouldn't recommend asking questions during class, go to his office hours unless you want to be embarrassed.

Funny, helpful, and pleasant. His demeanor is strange at first but you will come to understand his sense of humor. He is very intelligent and gives excellent examples to help you learn. A few medium sized essays but mostly subjective and he is happy to look it over with you ahead of time. I tell everyone to take his class.

Very self-centered. Loves to hear himself talk. One of the most miserable experiences of my undergraduate life. Does not have any problem humiliating students in class. Would never take a course from him again, unless forced.

Very easy class, writes everything you need on the board, and goes over everything step by step. Test questions are lifted straight from the notes and class discussions. However, he seems very full of himself at times and speaks in a very pompous tone.

To start, there is a lot of reading, and some of which is written by him self, about himself? His notes make sense to a certain degree, but when it comes to tests, they make no sense. There are numerous conflicts with his answers. 2 days notice for a test (25% of grade) Do not take.

Horrible teacher, is not clear and is never helpful. Couldnt do anything the way he wanted even though i went to his office hours almost everyday. Needs to focus mor eon his students and class rather than writing newspaper articles cause that is more important to him just looking in his office and on his door. AVOID AT ALL COST

Horrible professor. Makes students feel uncomfortable. Worst professor I experienced at Le Moyne; in fact it was the only class I have ever "dropped".

Take good notes and you won't have to read the text. At times the lecture was confusing but becomes clear. 3 medium-long papers. Follow instructions and you will get a decent grade.

So I thought he was going to be really difficult, not to mention I don't really like philosophy but I was completely wrong. He is absolutely hilarious and you don't have to read for the class as long as you attend, he puts all the notes on the board and quizzes are directly from the notes. 3 quizzes, 2 papers, NO FINAL!

I really liked him, he was very helpful, he sets up his classes so that you will be well prepared to write his papers which are a huge part of the grade. Reading is not necessary. Study for the quizzes though and you are guaranteed a good grade on them, although they dont count for much. He's somewhat quirky and eccentric which is fun.

This was the only philosophy class I've ever liked. At first he seemed intimidating, but is actually really nice and funny. Makes his expectations extremely clear. Contrary to other comments, he encourages students to volunteer their opinions. I would
