Dr. BB is an amazing teacher. I am not the best at math, but she made this class so simple to follow along to and explains everything very thoroughly to ensure everyone in the class gets it. Take good notes from the powerpoints because the final is open notes which makes your life a whole lot easier.

Easy class if you're a solid writer. No tests; the final exam is a simple project/presentation. When writing essays, it helps to read the textbook. Lectures are interesting, and participation counts, but you grade yourself on how you feel you participated in the end. Overall good class and good professor!

WOW! Dr. B-B was such a fun professor to take this semester and always made class discussions fun. Included everyone's opinions in the discussion and never chose a side. Although some students do not like that and want people to pick sides, I think that is her best quality: letting us have our own opinions without the influence of hers. Love her!

Grade is based off your writings. Very critical, but gives good feedback. Very slow to grade though! No exams, some easy quizzes. Videos (weekly) outside of class. Loves class discussion and getting opinions/involvement. Really nice lady and caring towards all students. Will put you on the spot to explain things. Class is always interesting

I had Dr. B for stats during the summer session. Wow. I hate math, but she actually helped me to understand the material. She was very clear regarding her expectations on every assignment. If you care about your grade, she will too! Those who don't do well can only blame themselves. Recommend her highly for Stats.

I agree w/ the rater before this. The professor went over material that is just common sense. She was a little scatter brained, people never came to class and if they did they would come 30 minutes late. She would just keep on going on and on, with her mullet red hair LOL!

Dr. Beaman has been one of the best instructors I have ever had at svsu. She was very accomodating to me throughout personal problems and visual problems I had during the semester and though I failed her class I am looking forward to taking her class again in the fall. She is professional and I hold her in highest regard. Thank you Dr. Beaman.

Dr.BB is a good professor, she has alot of experience in sociology. She doesn't always get your work back to you in a timely manner but is usually pretty helpful if you ask. There is one research paper and two take home exams. grading can be a bit harsh.

Dr.B-B is a fairly good teacher. Class was fun sometimes becasue we got to have open discussions and she does not play favorites nor is she prejedous in any way. Her class is challenging becasue you have to do a lot of outside work, but overall it is not bad. Just make sure you show up to class and you should be fine.O yeah!and there were no exams!

Ok, this lady has mood-swings, favorites, and this class is horrible. Everyone that said she was an alright instructor what were you thinking? I am going to pass the class barely. I could see if I had a 69%, her failing me, serious!!

Dr. B-B really helped me understand statistics! This was the first math class I've ever had where I really feel like I learned something. Several students told me to take her for stats and they were right. If you've been dreading stats, take it with Dr. Boye-Beaman! It's not a blow-off class at all but if you pay attention, you can do well.

Tests are not hard, they are open book, open notes. She pretty much tells you what will be on them. And if you go to class and pay attention, you'll do fine on the tests. She is a great professor!!
