He provides lot of code examples that help you clearly understand the problem and solution. He even highlights and explains the code line by line on the course website. The multiple choice questions on the website are tricky (as are the questions on the test) but they are very relevant and help you prepare for the test!

He is great teacher. He cares about his students and wants you to understand, even if extra after class hour is required. Not mandatory, but better to attend classes for clear understanding of online materials, as the class is hybrid.

Video lectures and explanations are great. But as a student you need to know your basic requirements and try participating during labs as it helps to understand concept better.

This is the first course online where I could find Java 8. Lambda expressions were explained clearly with basic examples. Overall a very good course for whoever knows or wants to know OO such inheritance. A very good teacher

one of the most terrible online courses I have ever taken. Got not full understanding the course and the assignments were not clear. For working assignments I got just about 50%.

Okay, here the deal. The java course was offered online. I dropped it the firs time. This professor cannot explain clearly. You have to chase him down to get answers. Questions are detail oriented. Does not explain lambdas. Online he only explains the easy examples. The hard examples take a log time to understand and lots of reading from textbook.

This is the second course I have taken taught by Mr. Anastasiade. His examples made it easy to learn Android Development. His help time was valuable. Not to mention that he was very patient. He was also available via email. His knowledge is vast. These factors encouraged me to take his course.

Mr. Anastasiade has played a key role in my interest for Java Development. His examples were just right. He always was available during help hours to discuss concerns. He was patient and always willing to make clarifications. I was also able to contact him via email. Most importantly he is knowledgeable in his field. Definitely take his courses.

One of the better instructors at Seneca's CS Dept. Lectures are well organized and notes are easy to follow. Focuses on helping students understand the important concepts and gives good examples in class to reinforce concepts. A textbook is not needed for this course as there are several online resources. Overall, very approachable and helpful.

He is a very nice person, professional, friendly, encouraging, caring and always pays attention that students understand the concept, the core of the course. His explanation sometimes sounds unclear, especially when you are half asleep (most of his classes start at 8AM), but if you pay attention you'll realize how reasonable what he says.

Jordan has always emphasized on understanding the concept rather than being able to write a piece of code. His method is reflected on his tests. Allowing open-book tests and requiring writing a short explaining for each answer demonstrates that he never wanted us to memorize something and dump on the test and probably forget it the next day.

He makes you think out of the box, and he tries to teach the latest technology. Right now I am working full time in the bank and I see how much his materials are useful. If I loved to attend his class. I see someone was complaining about Jordan feedback for the mark. If you took that course you have to work on your project not memorize some words.

He is a horrible teacher I never met! He didn't give any feed back about his tests, even the tests marks after the finial exam. His tests questions have none relationship with things he taught in classes. You never know what the correct answers of his questions are. Don't expect high mark of his course even you study very hard.

It was a great pleasure to have him again. I was inspired by his passion for sharing his knowledge with us. I have learned a lot from him. Also, he has a unique way of teaching; he does not put pressure on students while he makes sure they learn the materials and understand them thoroughly. He is one of the best professors I have had in Seneca.
