His lectures could get a little dry at times but the content itself is super duper interesting. Plus the class was really very easy. Most of our readings were whole books that we could read at our own pace and just have it finished by a certain date (they were good books). Very little day to day homework, and super cool topics

Prepare to be lectured every class. The majority of the final grade is based off of the midterm and finals which are essays with few multiple choice, and he is an extremely hard essay grader.

Professor Kleiman made my experience taking 302 as painless as it could have been. He lays out all the assignments for the semester on the syllabus and makes your grade based on many different things rather than just the major paper. He's a bit shy and reserved in class and office hours but gives meaningful feedback and cares about the subject.

Taking INTD (Industrial Food Chain) with Kleiman is definitely doable. Almost all of the classes are discussions or occasional movies. He's a bit of a tough grader, but if you are a decent writer the class should be a breeze. His personality is a little dry. The content is interesting if you care about that stuff

If you go to class, take good notes, and read the books you should have no problem passing this course. He is a bit of a tough essay grader but generally fair. Lectures can be a bit dry but he is thorough and always pauses to ask for questions from time to time. I would take this class again and I would recommend it for an easy-ish B.

He does give you what he expects you to know. He gives you test questions, which is extremely helpful, so there are no surprises... unless you are required to make up a quiz because he makes you write a full essay as opposed to the simple multiple choice he gives the rest of the class, which is unfair- he is boring so wouldn't recommend to anyone.

Super easy class, but you have to show up to get lecture notes. Don't bother buying the textbook, but def watch the movies and read/skim the books. Tells you what is on exams. Quizzes are easy. Only thing- tough essay grader.

Lectures could be a bit long-winded but he puts up Powerpoints to look at while he's talking. The reading quizzes count so having some idea of the books he assigns is important. Overall the class was interesting but participation and asking pertinent questions definitely make it more interesting and help to pass the time.

I took Jordan Kleiman for an INTD and I did not do well at all. Firstly, he's incredibly arrogant and does not provide good help with his papers. He's a super tough grader and treated this freshman intro class like a 300 level class. He expected our papers to improve 0-100 if he was to give anyone a good grade ever. Definitely would not recommend

Have Taken a couple classes with him. most of his classes are similar which is helpful. like to reread certain books. quizzes are easy 5 question multiple choice normally and the tests are not that bad. the paper can be long for non 300 level but very easy to get at an 80 or higher on, but hard to move up into the 90s

You definitely need to go to class because all the notes are spoken during the lectures. Gives detailed study guide for the midterm and final and if you learn those you will ace them. Reading quizzes are annoying but decently easy. He's really passionate and a very clear and interesting teacher. If you go to class and pay attention you will ace it

Great guy with great intentions. Not an easy A but an extremely fair grader. tests and quizes are exactly what you expect them to be, and as long as you do the reading and take notes you're good. Absolutely must participate in class though, and attendance is not mandatory but you probably will do horribly if you dont come.

Really nice guy, gives harsh but good feedback on writing. He expects a lot, and because of him I wound up expecting a lot more of myself as well. Also, go to office hours. Seriously. It will make your life ten million times better in this class. (note 'better', not necessarily easier)

I believed Jordan Kleiman to be a very good professor. He is in love with his subject and his passion is intoxicating for the first few weeks of class. He is intelligent and very opinionated. We were given detailed exam review sheets and ample time to get focused. The books assigned were simple to read and short. He is a great teacher.

This class is just downright tough. He never lectures. Whatever he assigns you to read, which is usually a decent amount, he makes you discuss in groups in a class, then he discusses with you. Very strict essay grader. I half-assed this class and did ok I do not advise that though. Do your reading and go to office hours and you'll do well
