Arteta is definitely a nice guy and cares about his students, yet he is super disorganized. No students ever know what is happening during class and you don't know what the quiz is on until the day before. Honestly, if you are just taking the class to fulfill the language requirement, fine, but do not take a class with him if you want to learn

Jorge's adorable! He's so enthusiastic, about Spanish but also about politics and history and so he makes things interesting by incorporating real-world issues. He really will take assignments late, and he's fairly easy overall. It's true you probably won't learn too much though.

Arteta is lovely. Funny, cute, enthusiastic, and EASY!! He will take any and all assignments late, and will let you correct your mistakes and average the final grade with the original. He just wants you to learn and improve, and is willing to help in whatever way. You won't learn too much though, that's almost for sure!

Jorge is a genuinely nice guy, who cares about his students and loves the Hispanic culture. He's definitely proud of his Puerto Rican heritage too. Somewhat unorganized though. Last week he accidentally missed class, but he is "making it up to us" by buying us all pizza or lunch sometime :)

Jorge Arteta is one of the nicest teachers I've ever had. Ever. He's kind and funny and genuinely cares about his students. On top of that, he's also an excellent instructor who's always availble for help outside of class, and he's an INCREDIBLY easy grader- IF you put in the effort. If you are going to take Spanish, take it with Professor Arteta.
