Very enthusiastic teacher. Clearly really wants to encourage students to be as interested as he is in the topic, but the semester seemed to go too fast for everything he had planned for us.

He enjoys his subject, and in my opinion teaches it well. Unlike many professors, he is really involved in research, but is also extremely interested in students. I also took his Natural Disasters course, it was fun, but might have been a bit difficult for non science majors.

Didnt use the textbook at all when teaching, and lectures were very unclear, and tests were not reflective of anything he taught. His mind was clearly elsewhere during class.
