His politics was generally easy but he made it more complicated than it had to be. It wasnt too much work, especially since it was online, but he expects a lot of care & effort into each discussion & essay. I have an A+ in every class yet I got a 79 on the first essay (there are two). He drills you down on finding an exessive amount of specifics.

Dr. F is a hard case for me. Personally I love him he's comfortable with himself and loves to teach. Very interesting array of knowledge and skill (such as playing blues harmonica in class). Despite this, his lack of organization doesn't match well to his level of expectation. Without much real structure from lecture to lecture, tests can ruin you.

Professor Fornieri is an absolutely wonderful professor. His lectures are engaging and he's a fun personality. Read the assigned readings! He can get cranky when students aren't prepared. I would 100% recommend Professor Fornieri to anybody interested in taking a political science class. Fair grader, really open to different perspectives.

I took his American politics class and as an international student I have a disadvantage for having lesser knowledge on American history but he really did try and helped me a lot. He is also easy to access for any problems. The lectures are heavy but he explains everything really well.

Dr. F is an invaluable resource as a prof. in his wealth of knowledge , scholarship, & commitment to students. His class can feel like there isn't enough time to go as deeply into topics, for him or students, but he definitely makes the most of the time available in a semester. It will seem hard if you don't go to class, but he is kind w/grades.

I took multiple courses with Prof. Fornieri over my years at RIT. I always enjoyed and looked forward to his classes. I always knew that I was going to learn a lot and enjoy my time. His classes aren't easy, reading and participation are musts. Usually the grades were made up of a group research project, a paper, and 2-3 tests.

He's a great guy, and is whiling to listen to hear you out. His office hours are kind of hard to attend though. He gives extra credit when he can which is nice. He'll also crack a joke here and now also. But you'll need to read the book, listen in class, and participate as well and you'll do fine. Hard course, nice payoff.

My only complaint is that there aren't enough assignments. There were two quizzes that barely affect your grade and a midterm and a final that make up pretty much your entire grade. If you bomb one of them you can't get above a B-. Other than that he is a good teacher and is very passionate about the subject.

Great professor, very helpful, and smartest professor at RIT! I had two classes with him and I got both an A. He is a challenging professor but you will learn a lot. If you are one of those kids who just want free A, this class is not for you!!

Fornieri was an adjunct professor for this class which may explain his lack of organization. We often talked about current events which were supposedly going to be on the test; they often weren't. We fell way behind because of this. Fornieri loves the textbook and you should definitely read it because he tends to reference it quite often in class.

I had him for the Presidency. He is really great professor, but tough! He assigns a lot of reading and expect you to memorize billions information. if you want to learn a lot of information, take his class. It is not easy to get great grades from him unless you put a lot of efforts.

Lots of work. Huge amounts of reading. Do all the readings and study hard... Maybe you will get a B. He isnt that helpful and never explains what he wants you to know from the readings and usually doesnt test on most of the readings.

Dr. Fornieri is one of the most passionate professors about politics at RIT. He truly appreciates the combination of allowing his students to learn, voice their opinions, and enjoy the material. Quizzes, Exams, and Writings are always fair in that as long as you take meticulous notes and analyze the texts of the course, you should do quite well.

First class I ever took in political science was with him. I have since taken three more classes with Dr F. as the instructor. Great knowledge, insight, depth and able to relate past to present within the political arena. Assignments are not easy, but in the end, you feel as though you really learned something.

Awesome Professor! He makes any dry topic more interesting and always throws in some jokes. There is quite a bit of reading to do in the class but very manageable. You will have to put in effort for an A but in the end it's worth it.

Constitutional Rights and Liberties had to be one of the hardest classes i've taken in the Liberal Arts Department, but one of the most beneficial. Tests/(Pop) Quizzes are challenging, attendance is required, but Dr. F knows his stuff! I went to his office several times for extra help and he more than helpful! Put in the work and you'll love it!

Dr Fornieri is a smart guy; he knows his stuff. He even wrote a book (he will let you know it, too). That being said, he is fun to have in class, but only because he goes off on comical tangents every 30 seconds. He is not organized, and you are forced to teach yourself out of the book and then sit through his pointless lectures.
