Great teacher! Really funny and always made jokes in class (he has an electric train set.... AWESOME). His voice is slightly monotone and if you don't want to do math during that time you might start spacing out.

I was terrified of him at the beginning of the term (still am a little bit), but he's super sweet and if you like cancelled classes he is the prof for you! We finished early almost every class and had about 4 lectures cancelled. Unfortunately he makes up for this time by going through things quickly. The good thing is, he explains using examples.

So, if every professor was more like Mokanski(AKA:Dr.Death, Grandpa Death, Clint Eastwood, Brokanski...whatever you want to call him) I think I would have a far lower average, yet have a much stronger grasp on all of the content in my major. He certainly words everything very well. Also it is nice that he doesn't have a hardcore accent.

Really knows his stuff but moves a little too quickly sometimes. Can be hard to follow. Pay attention when he's talking. Blink, and you'll miss half the lesson. Was a little intimidating at first, but seems like a good guy. Absolutely brilliant. Unfortunately, not all first year calculus students can keep up with his slightly dizzying pace.
