Barely used the textbook. You have the chance to be exempt from 2/4 of the tests which is great to have one less final to worry about. Tests are 50 mult. choice in class, and take home essays that you can work with a group on and have over a week to complete. Multiple choice are easy but essays are graded harshly, however I did fine on all of them.

Class is graded 50/50 on take home essay tests and in class MC tests. The MC are easy if you listen to lectures and read the book. The take home essay tests are very vague as to what he is looking for. He is also very unhelpful if you go back for help.

Dr. Tellish is very nice but the class is extremely boring. He doesn't use any PowerPoint or anything. The test material isn't from the notes. The essay questions take a lot of time and he is very specific with what he wants but doesn't make it that clear.

Nice man but can be very confusing and vague. No powerpoint, just writes random things on the board so you really need to listen. He talks very fast and MC is kind of hard, essay portion isn't bad as long as you put in all the information. Gives you opportunity to be exempt from last 2 tests and receive EC on all of the essays.

Long and boring class. Often makes jokes at the beginning of each class but after about 10 minutes, you'll be bored to death. Good person overall, however you have to listen for the notes because he will not tell you anything you need to write. You have to figure it out on your own. READ THE TEXTBOOK! it helps with clarity.

If you put in some effort, you will pass with flying colors. I don't understand why people are failing the essays when they are take home. Just answer every part of the question and you should be fine. The tests can be tricky, but overall very easy.

He is very nice and you have to write papers as a group which counts as the "essay" part of the test. If you are in a good group you should be fine. Make sure you ask him any questions before the test, because he basically tells you if you need to know it or not. He is never around and sometimes gives confusing answers to questions.

He isn'd bad. Most of the students in my class didn't put any effort into the class. If you study for the tests the night before you'll do fine and the take home essays if you just fill the answers in with all of the information given. If you include EVERYTHING in your answers, its an easy A. He also gives extra credit plus more.

The first day of class I thought it would be easy, but it isn't. The exams are half multiple choice and half take home essay. The MC are not hard at all if you know the concept list well; however, he grades the essays very hard. The questions for them are vague and he takes off points for not including specific details he never told u to provide.

His tests are worded weird in a way that makes it difficult to pass. An hour and 15 minutes of straight lecture. 4 tests that consist of multiple choice and a take home essay test. He expects perfection from the essay tests though. Very tough class!

Starts every class with a joke which is pretty cool. No quizzes, just 5 exams including the final. Part 1 is take home essay where he basically tears it apart. The in class exams are pretty easy (MC) but the take home essay part hurts you big time. He has a pretty cool test policy for if you do well on tests. Overall, i do not recommend him.

He is amazing! The fact he always distributes part 2 of each exam as a take home test is really helpful. The exams are only 50 multiple choice, so there is no way in hell you can fail if you do the take home test accurately. I love him!

He didn't give much work. The exams are half take home essay and half in class multiple choice. He graded the take home essays ridiculously hard so work really hard on them and get help. Do not skip class since although he won't say anything, he'll take it out on your final grade (believe me, he will). I found him annoying and would not recommend.

Not a bad class. Literally no work for this class except the take home essays. Tests are 50 multiple choice and 50 points of take home essays. Work extremely hard on the essays and you will do fine because the in class part is easy. Boring class too.

He legit doesn't care at all about the class and only teaches as an aside to his career in the hospital to make a little extra cash. He seems easy at first until you get your first essay back- takes off points for the DUMBEST things- it's like he doesn't want you to do well. No point in asking him for help- he's useless. Just get through.

Worst teacher I ever had. I got a 47/50 on every in-class part of the tests but he tore my take home essays apart no matter how hard I worked which resulted in me getting a B- for the class. Never answers e-mails and most boring lectures of all time. TAKE ANOTHER TEACHER.

very nice man. class is alright.. every test is half multiple choice (in-class) and half take home essays. surprisingly, the take home essays are harder than the actual in-class part because he grades them so hard. work hard on them. other than that, i do recommend him as a teacher.. he's nice and even funny

Extremely nice guy. Tests are half take-home (essay part) and half in-class (M.C). He does grade the take home part stricly and the multiple choice is OK. Easy to get a B on them but an A takes work. Overall, real easy if you just need the credits
