great teacher! had him for a class with 4 other people. helps you get a good grade. many "pop" quizzes usually gives a hint...usually at least one question on quiz that you didnt cover in class or reading which was sort of lame...i'd take him again though-also made you buy his book which was 175 dollars and couldnt sell back.

this class my is soo hard! topping doesnt really teach. he just leaves you out there to dry and gives you quizzes on info that you didnt even go over in class. be prepared to come to class everyday and not learn anything. you will have to go home and try to teach yourself.

Awesome class. Easier than I thought it would be for a college science course. It's very easy to study things right from the book and get good grades on the tests. Dr. Topping makes things very easy to understand. I definitely recommend this class!

I hated Chemistry in high school, and this class has honestly made me think about majoring in Chem!Labs are pretty fun & easy, and they never take the whole time. He's so funny; he calls everyone "young man" or "young lady," like a grandfather! Take this class!

i def. hate chem with a passion but topping is the best teacher to teach such a dull subject. he is very helpful and goffy in class. easy to get along with and very understanding. tests are pretty tough but he gives u study questions. lab write ups are a breeze. TAKE HIM!

I hate chemistry and he made it seem easy until i had to do practice problems. The class is pretty hard, but he is a good guy (to bad he has to be openly liberal it hurt my opinion of him). He is probably the one of the best professors out of some poor options for chemistry.

Awesome teacher, he's very grandfatherly but definetly knows what he's talking about. Tests are very thorough and attendance isn't mandatory but you should probably go to class to learn material. Highly reccomend this teacher!
