Joy is a bit all over the place & you never know what kind of mood she's going to be in, but she truly cares about her students. I hated Joy at first when I had her for arch hist 1 because she's not afraid to call students out who dont follow her rules. I later learned to love Joy when i took her for studio. Very genuine and likes to bake brownies.

Joy is a very nice person and i have heard many nice things about her as a teacher, but she seems to lost intrest in class. She is never prepared and is always talking about something else in class. You get about 10 min worth of info in an hour class. But she will be there outside of class to help you witch could help you. She is an easy grader

Joy is one of the best Architecture professors at A-State. She rarely gives homework and makes class very conversational. She is a stickler on reports though, but she's always around to ask for help and answers her emails faster than anyone I know. Joy is awesome!!!

Joy is the most wonderful teacher ever! She is caring, and always makes sure to stay involved with her students. She allows students to feel comfortable in her classes, and gives really fun and interesting comments. Her sense of humor and wit are great.
