She is very mean. At first, she said you can eat food in class. However when someone eat chips she asked that person to stop eating. She is annoying too. She tell people to be quiet while having a discussion or do reading.

This class was to supposed to be an “Asian†literature which means not only from China, Japan or Korea. I have wish if she have gave us stories from other Asian countries. In the end you will be bored with the assignments!!

Best english teacher in citytech. She is very nice and the class is very interesting. She is easy going and gives a lot of time to make up work. Its very rare you'll get a A in her class, but definitely a B if you do the papers she assigns.

I will miss this class and I hate reading and writing. Readings are assigned every class. You can give in the written response anytime. I love the class discussions, that is all we did in class. She does expect that you know how to write very well...3 papers and a written final, about two readings. imo, the easiest class out of the 2000 series.

Fiarly easy class. Lots of reading and writing required. Not all literature pieces are fun to read but most of them aren't bad. Final project for this class is a research paper that involves a book of your choosing. Overall fun class with discussions.

Very fair English professor. She gives short reading assignments and you have to write a response on it. The term consist of reading one book, midterm paper, book summary and a research paper based the book you read. Fairly nice lady, I'll definitely recommend her if you are going to take Asian American Lit.

She uses the texbook everyday and all you do is sit there and read. There papers you need to write and a final research paper at the end of the semester. She's very easy going but you do more reading than writing in her class. Everyone got a B average in my class. Honestly it's boring but you can pass by attending class and doing the hw and papers.

3-4 essays 1 research paper. All we did in class was reading. It was boring and she doesn't teach english at all. She is not an easy-grader. Nobody in my class got an A. More than half dropped the class i wish i did to.

Nice woman, wrote the textbookâ€"which is wonderful. but we always spent more time discussing the lit and we never learned how to write, which was sad b/c it was a composition class. if you can read, write and speak english an A is in your future.
