She is amzing. Very tough and slightly critical but she does that to test you. All of her grading is hard, but she put in a lot of extra credit oppurtunities and sometimes she asks for a class opinion on assignments. hands down she has been my favorite professor this semester and last.

Dr. Chrissman is not the best teacher for basic chem. Her lectures are confusing for students without a lot of chem experience. Office hours are not helpful, and she rarely ever shows you how to do math problems even though the tests are completely MATH. Rediculously unfair grading!

This woman is terrible. i was really successful in chem during high school, but this class blew my mind. she does not clarify anything during class (simply reads from the course package and does hardly any examples), is a VERY, VERY picky grader (-7 points for one more/less significant figure than necessary), and her tests SUCK

She has a bad rep & I see why. Yes, she's very hard, & is unclear. You must read txtbook & study course package & take notes. DONT MISS EVER. But if you ask her for help /go in office hours, she'll help you. You have to work hard. Labs are annoying, you will not get out early. Apply yourself & be prepared to study Chemistry a lot. Hard but fair!

Dr. Crissman has a really bad rep but she isn't that bad. Her class was hard but it's Chemistry so... get over it. Gives a lot of assignments that really help keep you on top of the material. Tests are really straightforward and if you put in the work you will do fine. Goodbye Dr. Crissman.

I took her class at 8 am last year and she's not what I wanted to see every morning at 8 am...in case you didn't notice this from her prior reviews she sucks. And she takes attendance, but reads directly from the preprinted slides that you buy with your text book... so I brought a book of sudoku with me everyday to class to make time go by

This is the worst professor of all time. Her lectures are extremely boring and she uses an ancient overhead projector that makes everything fuzzy. Her tests are ridiculously hard and have nothing to do with anything she has "taught" you. Her grading is inconsistent and she is completely unwilling to help. Avoid at all costs.

She is really annoying i cant stand her at all, she is not helpfull and very condesending. she needs to get the hell outta here, she is really that bad. dont get her. avoid her if you can, and even you cant take it in the summer if you have to her grading is impossible

She is quite possibly the worst teacher. I took her for Chem 111 and every minute with her is a drag. The bottom line is she is not helpful, acts like you are an idiot and is outdated. Basically she needs to retire. The majority of her students do not do well. She isnt even fun to be around. Avoid her. She is horrible.

DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS unless you have a very good AP chemistry background or unless a gun is held to your head.. She does not teach, & she does not clarify. I studied so hard & I only barely got a C. i learned more from the book than her. Hard tests with questions you can barely understand because she's so confusing! avoid this class at all costs

I was going to be a bio major but now having this ostrich as a teacher has made me cry, no longer want to be in school, change my major (which i'm goin to)and i have never recieved such low grades in my life.
