by. god. i took this class for half of my freshman year and it was a downright nightmare. 80 minute class listening to her talk. Nothing she says relates to anything on her exams. if youre hoping she posts topics from class online, youre wrong. She'll give you her home phone number to make up for not having a kodiak page. dont bother, just drop it

All she does is lecture. Dawson is so repetitive. Please do not take her. She is boring, awkward, and is not helpful. I had her for both micro and macro, the tests have nothing to do with what she says in class. Heavily book based. Dawson is not good.

Dryyyyyyy. Seriously so dry. Department needs a revamp for sure. However, if you are strong minded enough to follow her while she lulls on and read the chapter in the textbook BEFORE class, you will learn some Macro. Course load isn't bad and exams aren't bad but you may find it difficult because she is bad at delivering the material.

Supposed to be a basic economics class and it's awfully hard. Classes are extremely boring, she is boring, lectures you every day, condescending comments and dry humor, exams are ridiculous and she expects you to be an economist with how much material she wants you to remember. Do not, I repeat do not take this professor. Lucky to pass.

Sets a condescending classroom environment. Makes vaguely worded test questions and sometimes even has the wrong answer. Pretty erratic teaching style, cites distracting facts that are sometimes false and it takes away from the material you are trying to learn. Doesn't really seem to understand the material well herself.

I don't know what all those kids below me are talking about. Dawson is a really nice person, and so far this semester, a pretty great teacher. Sometimes the hour and 20 minute class can be kind of boring, so I'll be on my phone, but I still have managed to get an A on all of her tests and quizzes with minimal studying. I'd recommend taking her.

Terrible teacher. Do whatever you can not to take her. Makes things more complicated, gives you terrible notes basically just phrases.Does not use powerpoint or manhattan. On top of that noone gets above a B. Worst teacher EVER.

Not a good teacher. Had to teach myself the course basically. Her examples are rediculously unrelateable, and when you express the need for help, she just laughs. Laughs at every little thing, even when students are serious. The only teacher I had that semester without a Manhattan classroom which made communication very difficult. Do not take her.

This teacher is horrible. She doesn't explain anything and gives us very vague notes. You basically have to read the chapters and teach yourself everything because she can't teach. She is a very hard grader and doesn't provide any good feedback on the quizzes or tests. Avoid this teacher at all costs!!!

By far the worst teacher i have ever had. She is not good at explaining things in class, and confuses you even more when you see her for help. Exams are impossible, as are some of her quizzes. She will never take blame for anything, and always has a stupid smile on her face. She also does not give you an evaluation at the end of the course.

Hardest teacher I've ever had. Tests are impossible to pass. She came in after our last test with that ridicilious smile on her face and told her the highest anyone got was a 79 on the exam and then preceded to tell us it was all our fault. Offers no help and when u ask for it she still wont. Terrible. Avoid her at all costs.

If you think you can handle a hard professor...you can't...thought she would be helpful seeing as how her class is impossible...but after half my class dropped she still didn't get the hint...SHE SUCKS...WORST PROFESSOR AT WNEC!!!!! And her class is so incredibly boring..and the sad thing is she thinks she's great....DO NOT TAKE HER!!!
