Comment:

She is a really caring professor that trully loves her job and she shows it. Her biggest pet peve is people sitting in the back of the classroom and talking to their friends. You learn A LOT of information in her class and she makes learning fun. Only thing that sucks is paying $50 to see 2 dance shows made by students.

Comment:

Prof Douglas is the most adorable woman ever. You can tell she is really passionate about dance, it shows through her teaching. You have to go to two performances and write 2 pg essay on both. Tix were about $25 per show. No actual textbook just her notes which are $5 at the bookstore. You will have fun in this class and its super easy.

Not a fan. Classes were extremely boring. You have to show up to get your participation credit. Tests are easy if you glance over the notebook (buy at the bookstore for $5) for a few minutes. You have to go to two dance performances and pay almost $50 just so you can see them and write essays. Really easy class, but just very boring.

BEST TEACHER EVER! LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT THE DANCE 5 CLASS! YOU HAVE TO GO TO ALL CLASSES TO GET CREDIT FOR DAILY QUIZZES, 2 PAPERS DAILY QUIZ EVERY DAY AND MIDTERM AND FINAL LOVED THIS CLASS!!

She seemed a it intimidated at first but as the semester went on I realized she was really nice and passionate about dance. I fell in love with this professor. If you're majoring in dance take her class! I've always loved dance and she made me love it even more. She's a inspiration to me.

The best professor. Must show up to get 100% on credit. She will tell you there are 'daily quizzes' you answer some questions and turn it in to her and that is your attendance card, she doesn't actually grade it. Very passionate about dance, easy A.

Douglas is really funny and the class is actually pretty interesting. This class was also an easy A, just show up and attend 2 dance performances and write a short paper on each. She plays a lot of musical theater videos. If you have a heavy course load this class is doable.

AMAZING! She radiates positivity. She was beyond patient with rude students. Not okay. She is down to earth and passionate about Dance. She simplifies it so much. She has you do movements and repeat sayings that help you remember the material (not in front of the class by yourself so don't worry). She is a must take.

Professor Douglas is one of the most charismatic educators I have ever met. She really wants her students to pass, and lays out all the ways to ace the class. Tests are easy, and the dance performances you need to critique are unique. Definitely take this class if you have the opportunity!

She's a great teacher, class can be kind of boring if you're not in to ballet! So as long as you can stay awake in class and pay attention plus take a few notes you'll do great. The textbook isn't needed as you can just go to the library and skim through the chapters. Ps. she does not allow students to have drinks in her class, only sealed bottles!

Being a dancer of 13 years, i was really exited for this class. Some moments the class is really interesting and some really dull. But she's really enthusiastic and it's nice to have a passionate teacher for once. However, she's not so quick on grading (can't really blame her) but she's also late... she was 10 late to the final.
