Mrs. Gardner is an amazing person and professor. She made what could have been a very dull and boring class fun and interesting. She encourages student opinions, which is great. I really got into the subjects we were learning. She makes you want to try harder and do your best. Class is not a cake walk, but if you put effort into it, you'll do fine.

Great professor. Completely willing to help in whatever way she can. Class was not too difficult. Attendance is necessary, but she makes class enjoyable to come to. There was a quiz for almost every chapter read, they're a piece of cake if you read. Again a terrific, helpful and entertaining teacher.

I took Prof Gardner's Comp II class this last semester and all I can say is be prepared to work. She is a great professor and I enjoyed the class but when I comes to grading your papers her green pen loves to attack it. Just do what she says and talk to her frequently and you can pull off a passing grade.

GREAT professor and person! Lots of writing, really emphasizes format. Very helpful. Grades harder than my core writing professor, but really advises you on how you can improve. I made an A, and it is most certainly possible for anyone to do so if you put in the effort! Take her class!

I took Dr. Gardner for an Honors class in '93. I found her extremely charming (in a southern way) and helpful, but a little vague and unclear in her lectures. Her grading was tough as heck, but by the time the class was over, I felt that I'd progessed substantially in my writing.

She is an elloquent speaker and she is very passionate about the subject she is teaching which is a plus. She's very approachable and helpful to students. Brings out the best in you. And Damn HOT!

She is a really cool professor. Will help you with anything. Some of her work is hard, but very straight foward. Just going to visit her during office hours helped get a better understanding. I am not complaining with my B.

Very demanding teacher and I back up the person that said you will get C's rather than A's. She will help you alot and make you a better writer. I ended up w/a B without putting in too much effort. She also likes people who make an effort to be social.

I agree with all previous posts. Prof Gardner was very kind and knowledgeable along with being very demanding. She'll bring out the best in you. Three years after I took her course she still remembered my name!
