Expects you to know College Algebra, her lectures are more like review. She goes through the lectures quick, she doesn't spend time on one problem or a few if you don't understand in class. And also she thinks that all students are good in math. Which i am not one of those students. Get ready to teach yourself.

Tests are not the same as the homeowork. Very hard to do well unless you are one of those people who show for test and get 100's without doing the homework. I stayed in the learning center all semester and recieved an A in college algebra. I dont think she is good at teaching. Everyone else is like OMG shes so nice whaaaa, you dont like her??

Very clear and always prepared. Does not use mymathlab. This could be a good or bad thing depending on the student. All homework from the book. Very nice person! Always posts all class notes; this is very helpful! Would absolutely take this professor again!!

Covers all material. Always prepared for class. Has a strict schedule that maps out each day's work and assignments. Very organized. Easy to understand. Cares about her students but does want them to learn. Exams are very difficult and there is no curve. I feel like I learn more from her classes than any other and will be taking Trig with her.

She was an excellent teacher! Mrs. Hayes always made sure to explain the concepts and answer any questions students would have. Her tests aren't extremely difficult but they do require you to study and do your homework if you want to get a good grade. Make sure to pay attention in class and do your homework and you'll be fine!

Hands down one of the hardest math class I have taken in a while. Mrs. Hayes is a great teacher and is very helpful. She moves very fast and her test are difficult but manageable. If you do all the homework and study, you will pass the class.

I took Prof. Hayes for Trig and then 1140. She is great! She gives lots of extra help if you ask. I filled 6 notebooks with work and notes - so do the work - got A's in both classes. I recommend buying the student solution guide to help through some of the answers (the back of the book just shows the answer) I would take her again if I could.

Great teacher. Explains stuff well and gives plenty of examples. She basically does all the problems on the test in class, just with different numbers. If you do the suggested homework and study, you will get an A. She only grades from 5 tests and a final, so you really do need to study.

Mrs. Hayes is a great teacher! She only grades from tests, so really study for them. If you do the work and pay attention in class, you can get an A. She is very clear and will take the time to answer questions outside of class if she doesn't have the time during it. I am taking her again next semester and would recommend her to anyone! :)

Really nice person.However,really fast paced.Hard to follow at times and she frequently made mistakes that were corrected by students. Tests are pretty hard, some questions were worth 8pts or more. no homework or quizzes , so if you do bad on the tests then you are really screwed. I withdrawed,taking trig somewhere else. lscc sucks for math.

She's the sweetest lady. Very kind and very interested in teaching. Unlike Mr. Boast, her demonstrations aren't convoluted, confusing affairs...she's very easy to follow. I wish I could have her for the rest of my math courses. Her tests are on exactly what she teaches, so no surprises. I hate math, but she makes it easy!

I expected to ace this class but I'm barely passing. Her tests arent extremely hard but you have to be careful because every detail counts. Shes nice but I wish I picked a different professor with easier tests and who gives clearer notes. I suggest taking someone different for this class. Well, at least I have A's in the rest of my other classes ;)

Well i have the 50 min. class three times a week so i sucked...dont reccommend taking it if you really don't understand math all that well. The class goes by so quickly that you really don't learn anything and she tries to force quizzes into the last 5 minutes.
