Comment:

Great teacher, attendance is very important when we do group "projects". I loved her because she tried to relate to us and make us feel like we are not alone. Sometimes her explanations can be a bit confusing but if you ask her to clarify she would be more than happy to help! I showed up to class, did every assignment and passed with an A!

Best professor ever hands down! I loved her so much. As long as you do your work, you're guaranteed an A. Attendance is recommended for getting assignments, but ONLY REQUIRED on group presentation days (which are really easy btw.) Take home final (A+), and very few essays. Wish she taught more English classes.

professor hemington would get confusing at times. however, she was an amazing teacher and was there to help you understand what is needed to pass the class. there is no way you cannot pass this class. in the beginning you will have a group who you can work together with throughout the whole semester. great class! the term paper is main portion!!!

I can not describe how wonderful this teacher is! She gives clear instructions and if you follow them you will get an A. Not too many assignments and the ones assigned are simple and easy. If you do not understand what to do for an assignment or need help ask her! She really cares about her students and wants them to succeed!

Let me just say I took her class over 10 years ago and she has been such an inspirational teacher. I was originally in her Eng 79 class if I recall correctly and followed her ever since. She taught me how to write! I scored a 9/10 on my entry essay into CSU stanislaus. I wrote about her in my essay and meant every word! I owe it to her! a+ teacher

Amazing teacher, and is well respected by her students. She is understandable and is willing to help you but you have to go to her first. Looks mean at first but is a great person and has a sense of humor. There is a lot of extra credit given, absolutely no reason to fail.

Judy Hemington is funny and a great teacher. She always dismissed class early. She does give out lots of homework, but it is super easy. However, she can be confusing at times with homework and in-class work. If you don't understand, just ask her and she will gladly explain over and over again. :) !

I am a D.S.P.S student i was told to take her from my E.O.P.S counselor best choice of my life. Not only was Dr. Hemington was informative, tests were easy. you have to show up in order to do presentations. stick to the recipe and you will be fine. But all in all she wonderful teacher that actually cares and will fight for her students .

I took her during my first semester at delta and she was the best teacher I ever had. I wish all my teachers would grade like her. Her class was super easy as long as you knew how to write a paper and liked Mark Twain.

You'll pass her course easily. Attendance only required on presentation days. This class is extremely easy, but to be honest you don't learn anything. The book Huckleberry Finn is "required". I didn't buy it and I still passed with an A+. You get until the last week of school to turn in all of your work. She doesn't read essays, she checks format.

Basically this professor changed my whole view on English class. She is so funny and she trails off the main point of what she's talking about a lot, but she is a very easy-going teacher and she gives off a really cool vibe. Super easy grader, and you can skip the class every now and then and won't miss much, as long as someone tells you the hw.

Although she is quite funny, she's also very blunt i.e. If you walk in late, she'll comment but nothing too harsh. She will talk to you like you're her child but I guess it gives it a personal relationship? A lot of reading and kind of disorganization everywhere but it's not hard to keep up at all. I like her and would take her again.

Very sweet lady. I learned a lot in her class. She does give a lot of homework and sometimes its back to back. She offers a lot of extra credit but I don't think it helped with my final grade at all.
