This class requires A LOT of studying and keeping up with the class to pass. I suggest writing what Judy says into the PP because alone they can be confusing. There are only 2 exams for the class which require at least 1-2 weeks of preparing. Don't use the book, just take detailed notes and use the PP for studying and you will be fine.

I love Judy! She's so funny and her lectures are very engaging. The class is enjoyable and the exams aren't hard at all as long as you pay attention in class. One big essay but it isn't too bad because you prepare for it all semester. Looking forward to taking more classes with Judy!

Class is pointless, she records all her lectures on UD Capture and doesn't really even go over them so there's honestly no point (I went to 2 all semester and passed with a B). She has weekly online assignments due that are a piece of cake and just add points to your grade. Don't bother buying the text, just really study her recorded lectures.

Powerpoints are not helpful unless you go to class because that's where she gives out the information they're missing. Tests aren't easy-- you have to study hard for this class. Focus on nursing interventions; you really have to apply them for the exams. She doesn't curve either so don't rely on that! Reading the book helped me a lot.

Judy is awesome. Her exams are hard, but she usually is very fair with her questions. She definitely knows her stuff. She is always willing to explain concepts and help students. Also, she tells some funny stories. Definitely worth having as a teacher, just study hard for her class and keep up with everything.

By far the best nursing professor I've had at UD. This is my third class with Herrman and I love her. Her class is hard, but isn't that the point of getting a good education? She's really interesting, just study hard.

She is a nice professor. Very organized with everything. Goes to fast in class and sometimes when you get to a slide she says "we already covered that". She missed raised hands for questions several times on one side of the room. Over all a good class, some info. not needed. Did not mention PDR or other helpful nursing drug books.

she is great. she is so helpful and nice. material is hard, but thats not her fault. she does the best she can to help you understand it. her tests are very fair, hard, but she tells you what you need to know. you have to study, its basically to you to use what she gives you.
