This is the professor to take for Calculus III. She can draw any surface or 3D idea on the spot! It has been very helpful to me in office hours. I also appreciate that she incorporates visualization into her lessons on a daily basis. It makes the symbols easier to understand.

The most work I've had for a class in college so far. Very good professor but does not do a good job of spreading work out (e.g. gives lots of work some weeks and minimal others). A bit eccentric.

Prof. Holdener is one of the highlights of the math facultycaring, passionate, charismatic, incredibly sharp. Class would have been more entertaining if people participated more, and she definitely tried to push people in that direction. Clear and accessible method of teaching and available outside class.

Extremely energetic and a captivating lecturer, not to mention an exceptionally bright person. Not for the faint of heart however. You will be up late at night if you don't tackle her homework assignment early. Her tests aren't bad though. Have her again next semester and I'm looking forward to it.

So incredible. If you ever get a chance to take a class with her, do it. If you don't like math, but have to take a math course, she would be the one to take it with. Also, depth sequences are great with her; she's adorable and gets very excited. I went in for office hours so many times and she was always willing to help!

I had Professor Holdener for Foundations. Will never think of math the same way again; mind-blowing. Homework assignments and take-home exams could be almost impossible and sometimes made us feel pretty dumb...but with her excellent guidance and endless positive attitude in and out of class, it was all completely worth it. Amazing.

I've had Judy for Calc III and Foundations so far. Best Prof- her notation and clarity is superb, and she stresses how important that is. Funny, charismatic, and has cute kids. She's gorgeous.. too bad her husband's always around hayes too:( Oh and her tests are long and they really do test you! But thats what they should do, so be ready!
