This class was so boring. She sat in the front of the room and lectured for the entire hour and 15. If you are going to take this class be prepared to write because one days worth of notes is typically 2-3 pages.

I am a history major and am eager to learn, but Price killed my enthusiasm. She's very nice and very helpful if you are willing to ask for it, but her lectures are extremely boring and impossible to follow for someone with little knowledge of Chinese history coming into the class. The books are good but I learned almost nothing from the lectures.

She has such a good knowledge bass, and is very enthusiastic about the subject, which helps motivate the students. However, she is a tough professor and grades papers really hard. Go to her for help, it really works! All in all this was a good class.

Excelent knowledge database, wise, helpful (when anybody takes the time to actually come and ask for help). She knows her stuff, unfortunately most people are there because they have to be and its impossible to motivate those who don't care enough about the subject to give it the effort. All in all, wonderful teacher stuck with crap students.

She needs to retire. Her lack of memory inhibits her teaching abilities. She does not hand back papers timely and she types up her notes of your essays. She completely confuses everyone in the class and just reads her lectures based off of notes.

Judy has a great sense of humour and is willing to help those who don't understand the subject material. She is difficult on grading however as she's a bit picky to be honest. I really love the subject though and she teaches it very well. If she'd just not be as nasty on grading papers it'd be perfect!

I love Judy. She is hilarious. She has too much spit in her at times but she is a great teacher. If the student is willing to listen and pay attention in class. You can learn alot from her about Asain history and US as well. But don't tell her I said it she knows alot of thing about WWII that most people don't and it is fascinating teh way she uses her knowledge in everyday life. This is an awsome teacher if I ever saw one.

Judy knows a great deal about the topic, but has memory troubles and reads off of notes almost the whole class. Attendance is mandatory. Overall not the best class, but I did enjoy the books and learned quite a bit.

A very interesting topic, a very confused teacher. She comes to class with a stack (about 10 pages) of notes, and just sits there and reads them. There is no clarity or organization to her notes, no chronological order, nothing. More notes than learning.

I only took Ms. Price's Japanese History class for 3 weeks before dropping. In those weeks I really don't think I learned anything. The largest amount of notes I ever took in a single class was 4 lines long. I felt like I was wasting my time.
