Judy is a nice person and seems to be caring, however she isn't a great prof. I found that she did not explain assignments well enough to get a good mark, especially since she's a hard marker. I would recommend taking this class with Valerie Whyte if you could instead to receive a better mark.

Comment:

Great prof who takes time to get to know her students and very understanding of how people learn differently. Always gives good feed back and classes are funny even though the material is kind of not needed. Group work and presentations make up most of the grade and she is a pretty easy marker.

Great prof! I'm not one to enjoy presentations, but she really helped my with it. Lots of presentations and assignments, no final exam. She is very approachable but hard to get anything above a 90. Recommend taking her class!

Really nice, lots of homework/ assignments. First portion has a group work assignment due once a week. Very tough marker, specifically, very very picky with grammar! Other then that she is great!

Relatively easy class, although she assigns way to much homework. Always something due each class, as well as multiple presentations. She is super nice and easy to talk to. Great class to develop presentation skills.

She is a really good prof. She has a genuine interest in the subject and she wants to help everyone. In a group written report, it seemed that she only accepts one way of writing. She would change sentences that were already grammatically correct.

Business Comm II with her was good but it was very hard to get a perfect mark on an assignment - and I'm usually good at these sort of things. Her expectations usually come out of the air when you get your mark back. She's a nice lady though and very enthusiastic about the material.

Judy is an interesting character. She can't spell or write very well (good thing she doesn't teach written). She loves what she does. Her hair is the funniest thing. She jokes but isn't funny and her "quizes" are more like tests. She marks the same for every speech. I think she's the best prof for this course even if I dislike her sometimes.

She changed my university career: take any class she offers and dedicate the time to attend class and really learn from her. She challenges students and is compassionate and understanding all at the same time.
