Really awesome teacher. If you listen to what she tells you to do you'll get a good grade. Quite a bit of work but stay usually gives plenty of time to complete it. She can be a little unclear with assignments but if you speak with her or email her she's great at getting back right away and clarifying.

Julia is an amazing professor. She demands a lot of her students but she is extremely supportive and will go out of her way to see you succeed. She will help you to grow academically, professionally and personally. She helped me through some of the most difficult times in college!

Basically, her classes are the hardest thing you will ever do. She will give you hundreds of pages to read, and will not grade easy. But she is amazing. A great teacher, willing to go a mile for her students, and work through everything with them. Respected and loved by her students, really sharp, totally willing to argue and engage with students.
