I don't understand the bad reviews, since he is by far the best professor I've had! I learned so much from his lectures (which, by the way were so good that I actually showed up to them at 8:30 in the morning)! He managed to turn the awful Hibbler textbook into something I actually wanted to learn. Great professor. Great (cheap $10) coursepack.

Siva is my favourite prof, not sure why there are so many negative reviews. As long as you show up to class to copy down the notes and do the problem sets/past midterms he posts you'll do very well (he reuses questions for exams)

Tough grader, no online notes, terrible teacher. He has pre-written notes that he just shows to us in 20 seconds and then moves on. So i don't have enough time to copy them down, and they're not uploaded online. Course pack contains nothing useful other than exercises, so why cant he just upload the exercises online and save us all some money.

very bad prof, no notes online and not give us a chance to see notes after class, my friend didn't get notes in class so he went to prof and asked can I take a photo, and prof said "no,it's none of my business, I don't care" Also, he is very strict at process work, don't dream about high marks even you do all correct

Siva was tough and could come off as a bit harsh in class, but the course was fair and he seems like a good guy. Custom courseware was awesome and problem sets, while hard at times, help a lot for the tests.

People who rated him bad, please be truthful, did you attend classes and paid attention? Please realize that a good prof is not the one who just gives easy marks in order to hear less complain. It is the one who can teach the hardest course. His courses were extremely hard, and yet he teaches well. I bet other prof will struggle teaching these.

This man may be clinically insane. He exists to make your life in 4th year a living hell. He is excessively harsh when it comes to auditing quizzes and marking. He appears to be a control freak of some sort with how specific his instructions are. His online WebCT is a monstrosity of 1995 style HTML limited to use only in Internet Explorer. Avoid!
