The class material has changed every year for the past couple of years, meaning there are no resources to help study. The final project has nothing to do with the course material. In general, expectations were unrealistic, with assignments at times taking well over 24 hours of work to complete. He doesn't take student feedback into consideration.

Dr Passi is not clear sometimes and not clear with his assignment and test,midterms,exams question . he is always available and welcoming to ask questions, but do not expect vast knowledge on different subjects related.

Dr. Passi is one of the kindest people you will ever meet... But that doesn't make him even remotely effective as a professor. He struggles with English to the point where instructions and test questions are unclear. His grading scheme is (as far as I can tell) arbitrary. His lecture style is monotonous and unengaging.

Professor is unclear, unfriendly, simply reads the slides word for word every lecture, provides little to no assistance to his students and repeatedly displays a lack of knowledge in the subject material. In a school full of bad professors, he is one of the worst.

No baseball player has ever faced as many curveballs in his career as I have in this class. I could write evaluations like him by picking a random word in the book and ask students what's the 100th sentence before it. Oh and no partial answers, only exact words as written in "his" slides. I think Berkely wrote all his material. Made me hate nachos.

His accent makes understanding him a little tricky. Very nice out of the class and very approachable. Somewhat difficult in the classroom, though. Uses material from other universities at times and doesn't cover full quantity of material, then tests of missing subjects.
