One of my favorite teachers by far! Yes she's tough and has high standards but she tells you exactly what she wants and if you work hard, you will do well! She is highly intelligent and passionate about what she teachers, she wants her students to succeed! Take her!

Was intimidating at first, but she became one of my fave HR teachers. Was really caring and her classes were fun. The exams are difficult and you have to work real hard on the essays & group projects, but she is always there to help.

Slightly nuts! Very 'reflective' in character and likes to encourage exchanges of emotions/feelings,etc.. made the course harder than it needed to be! Tough grader! WAY too much info which isnt needed (coursepack/text/moodle). Makes students dance to the 'lion sleeps tonite'.. I sh*t u not!!! She's approachable + nice when u make the effort tho!

I have no clue what these ppl are talking about. She's not arrogant, she's confident! Not hard at all. If u listen in class, u will be fine. Not a hard grader either. She's fair. Ppl who complain are probably not very bright cause there is no way you can say she gives too much work or she grades hard. Its university ppl, what did u expect??

STAY AWAY! Scary. Mean. Tough. Bully. Very intelligent but so condescending and vicious. Not worth taking the class with her. She gives too much work and she acts "cool" and tough to show off. Although she knows her stuff.. quizzes all the time and if you miss 3 classes (no matter what!) -30% of your grade. 2 presentations.

Very tough grader.I found she created alot of tension with the build up to our group presentation at the end of the 2nd term, which was not helpful and only created further frusturation and anxiety. I also found her to be mildly arrogant which is in contrast to most profs teaching humman relations courses. Avoid if possible.

From an ethical view, she should justify how she backs up her marks. I found that her communicating style was very unclear. I did not feel comfortable to ask her for clarification of my questions. In addition, she needs to stops watching the devils wears prada over and over.Come on!.Ps: Love her shoes, not her teaching or her interpersonal skills

Great prof, knows her stuff, and rewards those who work for their grade. Appreciated her honesty, and direct feedback. When lectures, displays a great deal of energy, is interresting, yet sometimes her choice of words distorted message. She is approachable and uncertainties were easily clarifyed.

she plays favorites. very conceited and not helpful. Treats students like they are stupid, granted she knows her stuff but she is a very poor communicator which is ironic for a teacher in this department. Overall she is a nightmare made me reconsider being in this department.

Karen interrupts. When making points, she picks up on one word, misinterprets it then applies her interpretation. She makes students feel inadequate and ill-informed. Her directions are incomplete, require clarification and are prone to be inaccurate.
