Comment:

Professor Caldwell is a very sweet and understanding professor. However, this class is not a walk in the park. She tends to not stay on task during lecture and recitation and gets off topic very easily. Her exams are hard, but her homework's and PowerPoints help. You have to read the textbook and go to the tutoring center to pass this class.

Cares very much for her students and the topic of organic chemistry. Students complain thinking it will be a walk in the park- go to the tutoring center and work harder. Her knowledge of reactions and anything chemistry radiates off her. Highly recommend!

AMAZING CHEMISTRY PROFESSOR! TRULY CARES ABOUT HER STUDENTS. I RECOMMEND HER, WOULD TOTALLY TAKE ANOTHER CLASS OF HERS. ORGO IS VERY HARD IN GENERAL, SO YOU DO HAVE TO STUDY, BUT IF YOU PAY ATTENTION IN CLASS AND DO THE HOMEWORK, YOU WILL DO WELL IN THE CLASS.

Dr. Caldwell is an amazing professor. She truly cares about every student and wants everyone to get a good grade. The only thing is in general the class and material are extremely hard. You need to read the textbook and put in more effort to at least get an A- in the class.

Her class covers a lot of material. Nearly every question on her exams are from the homework, which is awesome. She likes well written lab reports. I loved her class. She is very smart and responds very well to questions and participation. Highly recommended especially if you're studying in a career field where you need to really know chemistry!

Best teacher ever. She is smart, breaths chemistry, very organized and she knows what she is doing. she explains excellent. She is a person who knows to respect and value her students. I can say that, since I came to this school until now (before graduation) I did not have any professor with so many values as her.

Comment:

She is the sweetest woman ever. She really does care for her students and wants everyone to pass. Organic chemistry is a hard subject, but she makes it so much easier than it should be. Her class may seem boring, but going to class really helps you for tests because she mentions almost everything that will be on it. This woman is simply amazing.

Really Nice Person. Very soft and quiet. But does not try at all to get to know the students outside the test papers, just goes along by the tests and not at all on your personal knowledge and interest in Chemistry. If you really understand Chemistry and like it but have health problems one day and miss something it will lower your grade alot.

I do not know why people think she is so bad! I am a chem major and if you attend class and pay attention its an easy B...she is so smart that some time its alot to handle. If you listen and study you will pass with no problem. Everyone who has bad things to say about this teacher did not put in the time and effort you need to when you take organic

Very helpful, organic chemistry could be way harder but Dr. Caldwell presents the information clearly and seems to know what is important. It is only hard if you do not commit a little more time to it than a lot of other classes. Use the textbook to supplement what is in the notes and it is definately fair.

Dr. Caldwell is one of the best professors I've had at Pace. If you didn't do well on her tests, it's because you didn't read anything and never went to class. How can you expect to get through o-chem and not read anything. The tests are extremely fair. Excellent person and no, I am not Dr. Caldwell.

She's not an easy professor. I gave a 5 for helpfulness (TO HERSELF), a 5 for clarity (CLARITY OF HER SELF GAIN), and 5 for interest (INTEREST IN SEEING HER GONE FROM RUINING FUTURE STUDENTS' EDUCATION). Praise her ability (difficult) and be rewarded. Correct her erroneous ambition (too easy) and suffer.

Dr. Caldwell is very willing to help you. You have to remain diligent and on top of your work and the result will most likely be pleasing. Do all the recommended problems she assigns and the problems in the chapters. I did a litle work everyday and I did well.
