Her class was extremely challenging, but in a good way. It pushed me to learning the material. My grades made a noticeable improvement from the first test to the second. I made a 79 on the first, and a 99 on the second. She's a good professor, and I learned to appreciate what I'm reading in a different way because of her.

An extremely intelligent professor...definitely is passionate for literature...a bit of a feminist, don't make her mad!! once you get on her bad side..forget it......but she will def expand your mind!! she thinks in complex ways and expects you to do so also, also be in class every single day or will fail..tests are verrrry difficult

This class was pretty difficult. I do not suggest taking it during the summer, you have a quiz everyday. It's very stressful if you are taking another class with a lot of course load. However, she was very nice, and this class would probably be easier if taken during the regular school year.

Great teacher. Also very nice if you give her a chance. She just has an unusual sense of humor. I'm not sure why most of these comments are negative. The difficulty isn't too bad. You do have to do the work and put forth some effort (shocking I know), but as long as you read carefully and pay attention in class you shouldn't have any problems.

I found her condescending, wasn't sure why I couldn't get anything right in this class, points came off left and right, I was paranoid about failing...I just have no idea how much more of a nightmare a class can be. Once I dropped the class she was very nice to me. I haven't yet figured her out. Very intelligent...very intimidating.

If you are attending Dr. K. Rogers class for an education, then you will leave satiated. I hate this class, she kinda sucks as a teacher. She isn't very clear sometimes and its hard to understand what she is talking about. She will probably make you feel stupid, we haven't had the first test yet, but everyone is dreading it. She gets pissed off if you interrupt or raise your hand while someone else is talking, especially her.

Absolutely the WORST professor at MSU. She's very smart, but her passion is making herself feel inferior to everyone else, not actually teaching. I know grammar like the back of my hand, but she insisted on giving me a B anyway (dispite all my tests being A's). She likes to throw around that she's the wife of the President a lot. And she likes to make everyone but her favorite students feel stupid if they ask a question. Definately not recommended.
