One of the best profs I ever had - always made learning enjoyable. It was a great loss to UVic when she left. Knew how to present material in a memorable way. I still use so much of what she taught me in her class.

One of the best professors I have ever had - tough but fair. I find that I am always applying the knowledge that I learned in her class. I wish I could mentor with her for a few years as she has so much knowledge aqnd experience. She greatly enriched my learning experience.

She's great. I'm really sorry she's on leave because that means she won't be teaching my next class. Always found something positive to tell me and I learned tons from her. It was one of the hardest classes I took but one of the best

Karen is a very interesting person. It's all about her and after a while it becomes very tiresome. She is very intelligent, but needs counselling herself. She can trick you into beliving anything..I guess she is good at what she does.

Excellent public speaker. However, she is condescending, manipulative, abrupt, and very hard to talk to one-on-one. I suggest if you want any feedback on your counselling skills, go to the UVic Counselling Centre.
