Good person, tries hard but not the most organized person, in tests she gets the material from the books, you might wanna check the site she gets some of the questions from there and it does not suggest to visit the site.laziness?? Karin is a nice person, but not the best teacher. Her notes are very scattered, so leave lots of space between them; she goes back and adds in bits later. Pay attention to text/lectures/videos: she tests on EVERYTHING with VERY specific questions. One good point: assignments are few and easy!

Yes, she's disorganized: she expexts YOU to be. It's her job to present ideas, YOUR'S to organize and take notes; in that sense she's of no help with notes. IF you put the work in and think for yourself, her 'scatter brained' nature will allow to make more connectoins, and her exams will be easy.

she's so disorganized! her notes aren't that helpful either. she also tests you on material that was never covered. Also, she walks around on her barefeet in class. Not really a pleasant sight either. I love the topic, i find it very interesting but she definitely needs pull her act together.

would not recommend her to anyone. she has enthusiasm once in a while, but for the most part is quite boring. jumps all over the place using her totally unorganized notes. plays movies to clarify, but some only last seconds. she is biased towards certain students and dislikes Business Admin students

she is such a great teacher! she knows how to make the topics interesting, and she always uses short movies clips to show you, rather than tell you how things work. her tests are fairly easy as long as you study.

A very kind & sweet lady that loves the field of Anthropology. Her notes are very unorganized and she does tend to just scribble random words on the board. So you do need to take your own notes from the text and try and write down as much as you can from what she says.

I loved this class with her! she is a bit all over the place but the exam and paper is not difficult at all! She is easy to talk with and has a passion for her topics, I would definately reccomend her class.

DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS WITH HER. Her lectures are so messed up, they are very confussing and unclear. She does not explain the material very well and students ask so many questions to figure out what the heck she is trying to say. She's nice though.

Bad, Bad, Bad notes. Scribbles randon words on chalkboard and that's it for the notes. Doesn't clearly identify what will be on midterm exams. Vague descriptions of chapters from text. Very kind lady, just doesn't belong at the college level.

She should be a kindergarden teacher. She is not fit to teach at the college/university level! She is unorganized, doesnt provide notes, scribbles unreadble strangley abbreviated things on the board. She contradicts the book. HORRIBLE! Scatter brained!!!!

She has a remarkable outlook on the experience of women anthropologicaly and draws from a strong feminist background. I enjoyed this course so much and I still value her input. Her lectures are like a woven tapestry. Try just absorbing, it's not linear
