Professor Rhodes is a good professor. Although she gives a lot of homework, they are all relatively short homework's and not so hard to do. She lets people pass in hw a bit late but with a good and valid excuse. Great teacher overall! I would recommend her.

I had Professor Rhodes for ENL110, and I had really good experience. So I took her for this class, British Literature 1. It was a lot of reading and a lot of work, but she makes it really fun and even brought props to class. She's strict about deadlines and attendance but if you can put in the work and do the reading, I love her and recommend her.

I was really nervous about taking ENL-110 but after getting to know Professor Rhodes I was put at ease. She's really nice and as long as you do the work, she won't fail you. But just make sure that when she says turn in a hard copy for your paper you do it. That's key. She's a good choice an better than a lot of people in the English Department.

I didn't really have any issues with rhodes overall, just assigned a lot of homework and papers. Lots of reading from the book she assigns -- make sure you get it! Not too tough of a grader, but talks A LOT. Classes are mostly lecturing and that's it.

Professor Rhodes is a great teacher. She is a fair grader and if you decide to take her class, be ready to learn about different pieces of literature. The British Literate class she teachers is very interesting and informative. I may have misjudged Professor Rhodes at the beginning of the course, but she is an amazing teacher!

she's an ok teacher. i just really wouldn't recommend taking any class of hers online. she assigns 30+ pages of reading which isn't bad but a bunch of mini assignments into one big assignment and you have to figure out for yourself how to even do it. the group discussions get tiring and boring. it's repetitive and not an interesting class at all.

Professor Rhodes is probably the worst professor I've had at Salem State University. She says one thing, yet does another. She takes FOREVER to grade anything and then takes a week to email you back about it. I wish I never took her class.

Lots of writing and you will be in class for every single minute but having said that nothing is particularly hard and she seems amazingly lenient amount late papers and will give you a chance to hand them in the next week. Very approachable and willing to help.

She grades your papers on whether or not she agrees with the topic and likes you. For instance, I wrote my argument paper on how social media can cause narcissism. She took this way to personally. And wrote on my paper how I sound "stiff and emotional-less". Very horrible professor. I learned very little in here class. Waste on money.

Like others have said, she's out there. She's the funniest person she knows! But really - there's a lot of reading, a lot of assignments (which are all like 2-3 page papers in which you answer questions about reading). If you do not read the material, you will not get good grades. Simple class, easy A, nice professor overall.

She is a bit of a space case, but over all the class is very easy. We had to write about six, three to five pages essays which made up a good portion of the grade but she quite literally held your hand through each one. I strongly recommend for someone who isn't too good at Comp.

Professor Rhodes is great. I hate literature, but she doesnt expect you to be an English major. Unlike most English teachers who are just miserable, she rocks and is fun. There is a one page writing assignment per week, but its opinion based. If you do the readings and come to class, you're all set. The final sucks, but its not worth much.

She is a character but overall her class was pretty easy. I didn't even open the book - wish i didnt buy it. Everything is on sparknotes and she pretty much narrates the story to you. Theres no homework, just a lot of reading required. She does give extra credit which is always a plus. I would take her again.
